With almost four decades of floral design experience, all you have to do is tell her your floral dreams and she will work her magic to make them come true. We had the chance to sit down with Brigitte a little while back, and are excited to share a little more of her story with you!

1.) How long have you lived in Estes Park?

I have been running Floral Design of Europe since I moved to Estes Park since 2000. I originally started in floral design 37 years ago.

2.) What is your favorite thing to do in town?

My favorite things to do in Estes Park are to get out in nature. I enjoy hiking Bear Lake and Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. I also like watching all of the wildlife around me in Estes Park.

3.) How did you get started as a florist?

I am originally from Switzerland where I stated in the industry.

1982 – 1985 Florist Trainee school

1985 – 1989 Working as a Florist at Flower Shop Fleischlin

1989 – 1991 Hotel Florist at Palace Hotel St. Moritz

1993 – 1999 Floral Design of Europe Retail Store in Boulder Colorado (Owner and Designer)

2000 – 2019 Floral Design of Europe, designing exclusively for weddings and special events (Owner and Designer)

4.) What is your favorite part of being a florist?

My favorite part of being a florist is designing my couples’ vision, coordinating the details of special events and utilizing my extensive experience in high-quality floral design

5.) Do you have a favorite wedding memory from your years in the industry?

Every wedding is very unique and different. I designed flowers for many weddings in different seasons and different places and countries. They are all my favorite!

6.) What is your favorite flower?

I love flowers that are in season… Spring: Peonies, Ranunculus, blooming branches, Freesias, Tulips and Helleborus Summer: Garden Roses, Hydrangeas, Calla Lilies, all wildflowers, and greenery Fall: Sunflowers, berries and Dahlias Winter: Evergreens, pinecones and non floral elements brunches

7.) What couples can expect when they book with you?

I care deeply about my couples and their wedding days. I specialize in weddings and special events and offer quality service. I have 37 years of floral design experience, I am adaptable to a variety of situations and am very responsible, organized and detail-oriented. I strive to offer my clients the best customer service.
